American Legion

The American Legion was founded in 1919 and has served as the largest wartime veterans organization. It provides youth mentorship and sponsorship of programs in its communities, with a strong emphasis on patriotism, honor, national security and continued devotion to active duty service members as well as veterans.

American Legion Auxiliary

The American Legion Auxiliary has the motto of “Service not Self” in which the members strive to support the American Legion by honoring the sacrifice of those who serve. The Auxiliary advocates for veterans, mentors youth, and promotes patriotism.
